Borussia Dortmund striker, Sebastien Haller, who was diagnosed with testicular cancer in July, announced on Thursday that he will undergo surgery.

“As expected from the beginning, different options were considered following the chemo. I announce that the fight is not over for me,” the 28-year-old Ivory Coast striker tweeted in French.

“I will have to undergo an operation to finish definitively with this tumour that keeps me away from the pitch.”

France-born Haller joined Borussia Dortmund from Ajax in July to help fill the hole left by the departure of Erling Haaland to Manchester City.
A few days after signing Haller felt pain and club doctors made the diagnosis.

The FIFA President pointed out the importance of unity, and encouraged participants to both savour the moment and to believe in themselves.

“There are, for the first time, six women as well, present. But whether men or women, it’s referees. For us, for me, we are all part of the same team,” President Infantino added. “You will feel a lot during this World Cup. The emotion of being part of this adventure. The emotion of having four or five billion people all over the world looking at what is happening here. And you are asked to be there, to be fit, to be ready, to take decisions, to take responsibility in a very short time. You are the best in the world. That’s why you’re here.”

Manchester United clinched an important 3-1 win in their crucial Premier League clash against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

It wasn’t the best performance from Manchester United, but the manager would be happy with the result. Considering Arsenal’s overall performance, it is quite easy to say United were lucky to earn all three points from the game.

Arsenal started the game on the front foot as they dominated possession and looked very threatening in the final third. However, their dominance didn’t count as Manchester United grabbed the lead in the 35th minute.

Antony found the back of the net with a sublime strike from close range to put United in front.

Arteta made a couple of good tactical decisions in the second half to give his team a different attacking shape. That decision paid off for Arteta as Arsenal found their way back into the game in the 60th minute courtesy of Saka.

However, we can’t possibly overlook the damages caused by Ten Hag’s decision to take off Antony for Cristiano Ronaldo in the 58th minute.

Ten Hag’s men lost their defensive shape as Arsenal mounted great pressure on them in the opening stages of the second half. It is fair to say United would have sustained their defensive shape if Ten Hag didn’t Introduce Cristiano Ronaldo very early in the second half.

Ten Hag made a couple of good substitions later on in the game to restabilise his team. It all worked out for him as United grabbed two quick goals to clinch maximum points
