…congratulate President Tinubu, Nigerians

The Deputy Speaker House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has extended warm congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and all Nigerians as the nation marks its 65th Independence anniversary.
In his goodwill message, Kalu urged Nigerians to rekindle their sense of hope and strengthen their commitment to building a country that works for every citizen.
Reflecting on Nigeria’s journey since independence, the Deputy Speaker acknowledged the challenges the nation has faced but stressed that he remains optimistic about its steady march towards greatness.
Kalu emphasised the importance of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, describing it as a blueprint that reflects the collective aspirations of Nigerians. He called on citizens to embrace patience, unity, and resilience in order to harness the country’s diversity for national development.
According to him, “The Renewed Hope Agenda symbolises our shared dream of a Nigeria where opportunities are accessible, and every citizen has the chance to flourish. Together, we can build the nation our founding fathers envisioned.”
He further restated his commitment to serving the people and contributing to the progress of Nigeria through purposeful legislation.
The Deputy Speaker also assured that the National Assembly would continue to prioritise laws and policies that place the welfare of citizens at the heart of governance.
Kalu wished Nigerians a joyful and meaningful Independence Day celebration, while praying for divine guidance and a more prosperous future for the country.
He said: “As we celebrate Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, we reflect on our nation’s journey, achievements, and challenges. This milestone reminds us of the sacrifices made by our forebears and the collective efforts towards nation-building.
“As a representative of the people, I’m honoured to reaffirm my commitment to serving Nigerians and contributing to our nation’s growth.
“I have faith in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR which embodies our collective aspirations for a Nigeria where citizens thrive, opportunities abound, and our nation takes its rightful place globally. It’s a call to action for us to work together, harnessing our diversity, resilience, and determination.
