The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has approved the appointment of the following as South- East Caretaker Committee.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by Hon. Umar M. Bature
National Organising Secretary, PDP stating that the following people:
1. Chief Chidiebere Egwu – Chairman.
2. Pascal Ukwani – Member
3. Barr Ukpai Ukairo – Member
4. Hon Kingsley Okafor – Member
5. Hon Chukwudi Apugo – Member
6. Hon Obiora Ugwu – Member
7. Mrs Anthonia Nwankwo – Member
8. Emeka Okeke – Member
9. Hon Mike Ahumibe – Secretary 
Accordingly, the assignment takes effect from December 2nd 2025 and the Committee is charged with the responsibility of running the affairs of the Party in South – East, as stipulated in Section 21(2) (a-b) of our Party Constitution for a period not exceeding 30 days.
