The Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi would miss their semi-final against Morocco at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
This follows his booking in the 2-0 win over Algeria on Saturday.
Ndidi, who received a yellow card in the victory over Mozambique, was walking the disciplinary tightrope alongside Calvin Bassey and Frank Onyeka.
But the midfielder is the only one who got another yellow against the Desert Foxes.
He will now serve a one-match ban against Morocco.
Ndidi will be available for selection for either the third-place play-off or the final, depending on how Nigeria fare in their semi-final clash
