The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Burutu Federal Constituency has inaugurated its LGA and wards CTC executives at a ceremony in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
Prof. Sylvester Monye, the state CTC Chairman, represented by Elder Johnbull Aghogho Kenairu, thanked the PDP leadership in Burutu for their loyalty and commitment to the party. He assured them of his support and urged them to keep working towards the party’s success ahead of the 2027 general election.
Speaking at the ceremony, party faithfuls like Senior Comr. Austin Ozobo, Hon Ebigba Omoun, and Seaman Augustine expressed confidence that PDP will win in Burutu LGA. They noted that no party has defeated PDP in the area since 1998. 
Hon Dr Akpodiete Olotu Otemu JP, a U3 House of Reps Aspirant, charged the newly sworn-in caretaker committees to keep soliciting support for the party, assuring them of victory.
Jackson Agbor welcomed the state representatives and advised party faithfuls to remain steadfast and hopeful despite the party’s current crisis. He warned against anti-party activities in Burutu LGA.
Comr. Christopher Perezimor Akontua thanked the party leadership for trusting him and assured them of his loyalty and commitment to delivering his duties without fear or favour.
The event ended with closing prayers led by Seaman Augustine, who also opened the ceremony with opening prayers.
