Security operatives on Saturday rescued 16 Kubwa residents and four kids abducted on Tuesday night.
Naijablitznews recall that
heavily armed gunmen invaded the community on Tuesday night, operating between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., moving from house to house while attempting to force their way into homes.
Security operatives on Saturday afternoon stormed the forest where the abductors were being warehoused and rescued them.
A relative of one of the abductees told Naijablitznews that “the operatives rescued them and immediately took them to the hospital for treatment.
According to him, the kidnappers noticed strange movements in the forest and suspected they have surrounded.
“They immediately absconded leaving them behind to their fate because they had earlier requested for a N10million ransom.
“We thank God as they’re presently under the custody of security operatives.
“In the last three weeks they have been invading Biazhin on a regular basis.
