Mr Macaroni, a popular comedian and skit creator, has chastised musician Wizkid for disparaging renowned producer and music executive Don Jazzy.
It should be noted that Wizkid took a swipe at Don Jazzy while reacting to shade fired at him by Mavin signee, Ladipoe.
When rapper Ladipoe’s shade was brought to his attention, Wizkid stated that he “never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer”.
He also retweeted some tweets suggesting that he was referring to Don Jazzy as a mere social media influencer.
On Monday afternoon, the Skitmaker responded via his X handle, saying that while Don Jazzy is influential in music, content, films, and businesses, Wizkid’s reference to him as “an influencer” was insulting to “everything he has done and is still doing for the Nigerian Music Industry.”
He described Don Jazzy as a “absolute legend” who is unselfish and has offered support to numerous performers in the country, regardless their positions.
Mr Macaroni wrote: “Donjazzy is perhaps the biggest Entertainment Influencer in Africa. And the beautiful thing is that his influence cuts across. From music, to contents, films, brands etc.
“However, we would all be hypocrites to say that the context in which he was called an influencer isn’t disrespectful to everything he has done and is still doing for the Nigerian Music Industry.
“An absolute legend. He promotes Music Artistes even outside his record label. Gives free advice and visibility to up and coming artists, shows love to everyone irrespective of their status. I am also a beneficiary of his phenomenal influence!
Don Baba J!!!! Your Influence Choke!!!”

Nigerian singer, Flavour has revealed why it is difficult for him to commit to one woman.
Speaking in a video broadcast, the ‘Nabania’ crooner said he belongs to “the wild world” and not to a single woman.
The music star explained that unlike some men who are “domesticated”, he can’t be “caged.”
He said, “I am an explorer. I belong to the wild world. I belong to the street. Some men are domesticated but I am not. We belong to the wild world. I cannot be caged.”
Flavour has three children from two different women, both of whom are former beauty queens.
Afrobeats star Davido has stated that he will personally work to prevent electoral manipulation during the Osun State governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026.
In a post on his Instagram story, the singer addressed attempts to tamper with votes and stated he would be present on election day to protect the process.
He also expressed support for his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is seeking a second term under the Accord Party.
“On August 15, anybody who tries to rig go collect in the highest order. I will be in the field to defend our votes. Keke must ke if need be!!! @aadeleke_01, at your back, sir!” he wrote.
Davido shared a clip of former resident electoral commissioner Nnenna Otti discussing electoral fraud and linked his comments to that footage.
The artist has been publicly involved in Osun politics. In April, after joining the party, Davido was named head of youth mobilisation for the Accord Party campaign council.
