The challenge was contained in legal correspondence issued by Iyabo Ojo’s lawyers in response to allegations made by Anjorin, which reportedly include claims linking the actress to the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
Anjorin was also alleged to have made claims concerning Iyabo Ojo’s personal relationships and the marriage between Senator Ned Nwoko and actress Regina Daniels.
She further allegedly accused Iyabo Ojo and her daughter, Priscilla, of operating a network of more than 100 bloggers purportedly used to target and harass her.

However, Iyabo’s legal team rejected the allegations and insisted that Anjorin must substantiate them before the court.

The lawyers disclosed that a suit involving the two actresses is already pending before the Lagos State High Court, with legal processes reportedly exchanged by both parties.

They also accused Anjorin of violating a court order allegedly restraining her from publishing or making references to certain members of Iyabo Ojo’s family.

The legal team further alleged that Anjorin had made threats against members of the family, including Iyabo’s one-year-old grandchild, Rakeem.
Iyabo, through her lawyers, maintained that she was prepared to have the allegations tested before the court and would insist that Anjorin produce evidence to support the claims attributed to her.

The development adds another chapter to the long-running dispute between the two Nollywood actresses, which has generated considerable attention on social media and increasingly spilled into the legal arena.
