Eyiboh convenes strategic meeting, rallies political leaders and grassroots coordinators for stronger campaign coordination
Political stakeholders in Esit Eket Ward 9, Akwa Ibom State, have pledged to intensify grassroots mobilisation and strengthen political unity in support of the re-election bids of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Umo Eno ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The commitment was made on Thursday, November 5, 2026, during a strategic stakeholders’ meeting convened by the Ward Campaign Director of the Tinubu and Umo Eno Re-election Campaign Organisation, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, at The House of Eyiboh.
Eyiboh, who is also the Special Adviser to the President of the Senate on Media and Publicity, brought together political leaders, unit coordinators and party faithful to strengthen internal cohesion, harmonise political interests and establish a coordinated grassroots mobilisation strategy ahead of the elections.
Discussions at the meeting centred on the need for greater collaboration among political stakeholders, effective communication, inclusiveness and clearly defined responsibilities to ensure that the campaign organisation operates as a united and coordinated structure.
Participants stressed that successful political mobilisation requires more than individual commitment, noting that unity, mutual understanding and organisational discipline remain critical to building a formidable grassroots political network.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for stakeholders to review ongoing harmonisation efforts, strengthen relationships among political actors and reaffirm their collective commitment to the objectives of the campaign organisation.
Among those in attendance were the Ward 9 Councillor, Hon. Anthony Effiong Okon; Hon. Okon Bassey Iyanam; Pastor Esemi Udi; Hon. Daniel Edet Akpe; Mr. Augustus Amos; Pastor Unwana Tom; Hon. Samuel Francis Okon; Mr. Victor Tom; Hon. Edoho Sunday Okon; Hon. Gabriel Okon Peter; Mr. Godwin Paul; Mrs. Ini Nnamudo; and Mr. Imo Tommy Eshiet, alongside other party leaders and stakeholders.
The engagement forms part of broader political mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections, with the campaign organisation seeking to consolidate support for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Eno’s ARISE Agenda.
The stakeholders resolved to sustain the harmonisation process, deepen cooperation and strengthen grassroots coordination across Ward 9 to advance the re-election campaigns of both leaders.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to working collectively to ensure effective political engagement and mobilisation as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.
