Following the recent backlash by popular filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, broadcaster and actress, Katherine Obiang has revealed her experience as a clingy child.
She recounted how she went to hug her father as a child in the morning and felt his er3ction.
According to Obiang, she immediately left the room and schooled herself on the need to avoid that particular closure with her father.
The Lekki Wives star disclosed this in the recent Jasiri show on News Central where she offered her perspective on the issue surrounding director Kunle Afolayan’s intimate dance with his daughter, Eyiyemi.
Recall that the video of the father-daughter duo trended on social media which provoked many people label their behavior as “inappropriate” because of the way Kunle held his daughter during the dance.
Speaking on the subject, Obiang disapproved of the dance and stated: “Suppose as he was dancing with his daughter like that and had an erection what would happen? Because it’s normal na, he is a man.
“When we were younger we used to go to my dad’s room to play but in the morning when you want to hug your dad because you love how he smells, I felt an erection and I arranged myself and that was the last time because I realised at that point that playtime is over. I didn’t need to be schooled about that.”
Fuji music legend Saheed Osupa has reignited his feud with street-pop star Portable, declaring in a viral video that the younger artist will “still be dealt with”, but did not mention direct as to who he was referring to. Popular Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has allegedly been taken into custody by operatives of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS).
The self-proclaimed social media influencer disclosed the development through a post on his official Instagram account on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. However, details surrounding the arrest remain unclear.
Expressing concern over the situation, Bobrisky revealed that he had not been informed of the reason for his detention. In his Instagram post, he wrote, “Guys, I have just been arrested by immigration in Nigeria. I don’t know what I did o.”
At the time of this report, it remains uncertain whether the arrest took place in Lagos, Abuja, or another part of the country. Additionally, there is no confirmation on whether Bobrisky was apprehended at a specific location or while in transit.
Efforts to reach the Nigerian Immigration Service for an official statement on the matter have so far been unsuccessful. However, the development has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many Nigerians speculating about the possible reasons behind the arrest.
