How I Lost 147 Followers in a Week, After I Queried Why Pastor Jerry Eze Held Healing Services in UK and US, None in Nigeria – Eke Ako

Published

on

Yes, you read the story right. I lost 147 followers in a week

1. Asking why Pastor Jerry Uchechukwu Eze held prayer and healing conferences in the UK and US 2 YEARS IN A ROW, when he has not held even 1 in his home state of Abia, where his church started, where his people can’t afford 1 square meal, have no government hospitals, have basically zero government support, AND where many DIE DAILY of simple illnesses because they can’t afford hospital bills.

1a. Remember that our pressure led Ebuka Obi to decide to hold the recent prayer conference in his home town. It also led Jerry to give N100m to some youth, although that was not good enough. All the funds made through Christianity are for charity work.

I lost 147 followers in a week for:

2. Stating that Jerry is a religious content creator, while Sabinus is a secular content creator. A simple Google Search will return a result showing that he is a YOUTUBER, see a search result in the photo below.

3. Stating that Social Media Platforms do not reward anyone with money, rather one has to apply for monetisation and submit one’s international passport, account number and other things, to get paid.

4. Stating that the billions of Naira Jerry makes from his church and content creation, totally belong to charity, as his church is a registered charity organisation, which all the proceeds must go to charitable work, according to the articles of incorporation.

4b. Stating that it is insensitive to continue asking vulnerable people who come for prayers to donate money daily as seeds, altar building , and donations to his ministry, while he rakes in millions of Naira daily through his content creation on different social media platforms, which he asks the same vulnerable people to ‘SHARE SHARE SHARE’ to, during his daily prayers.

5. Stating that Acts 2:43-46 is very clear that all the money made through Christianity must be used purely for charity work.

6. Asking why the UK branch of his church and others, PUBLICLY publish their financial reports and statements of activities in the UK, stating clearly what charitable work they used ALL the churches’ funds to do, but refuse to do same in Nigeria.

7. Encouraging Pastor Jerry Eze and other pastors to publish the financial reports and statements of activities OF THEIR CHURCHES in Nigeria, and clearly state what acts of charity they did with the funds their churches or ministries earned in the name of God, as their churches do in the UK.

MY OPINION: I am unhappy that 147 people unfollowed me, but at the same time, I must also thank the 335 people who followed me during the period.

Unfortunately, I will not stop preaching the message of change. I will continue to drain the swamp of political and religious illiteracy, that has stifled the development of our society.

More will unfollow me in the coming days, but more will be liberated.

Politicians and pastors are the two greatest enemies of the people in Nigeria.

IT IS WHAT IT IS!

The operation, executed through collaborative efforts, involved the Ghanaian Anti-Human Trafficking Police Unit, Rescue Live Foundation International, NIDO Ghana, and NiDCOM.

The latest group of rescued women, aged 19 to 30 years, hails from Ebonyi, Benue, Kaduna, and Rivers States.

It was gathered that they were lured to Ghana under false pretenses of employment but were subjected to exploitative conditions and coerced into secrecy oaths while their traffickers profited from their ordeal.

NiDCOM’s Chairman/CEO, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, expressed her gratitude to key supporters, including Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, for their roles in ensuring the safe return of the victims.

She also praised Chief Callistus Elozieuwa, BOT Chairman of Rescue Live Foundation International/NIDO Ghana, and the Ghanaian Anti-Human Trafficking Police Unit for their commitment to prosecuting the traffickers.

Dabiri-Erewa reiterated NiDCOM’s commitment to protecting Nigerians abroad, aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes combating human trafficking and safeguarding citizens’ rights.

Upon arrival in Nigeria, the women were handed over to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, for rehabilitation and reintegration.

NiDCOM representative Akinboye Akinsola, who accompanied the women, noted that they willingly sought assistance after learning about previous rescue efforts in Ghana’s Kpone Katamanso and Tema regions.
