Why I blocked May Edochie- Uche Ogbodo
By Francesca Hangeior
Actress Uche Ogbodo has opened up on why she blocked May Edochie, Yul Edochie’s estranged wife, on social media.
Ogbodo’s decision came after her boutique store was robbed and May’s fans allegedly trolled her, implying the incident was karma for supporting Yul’s second wife, Judy Austin.
Ogbodo expressed frustration with May’s fans, who she said consistently mocked her and spread negativity.
She clarified that she blocked May due to her apparent tolerance for the toxic behaviour.
The actress defended herself, emphasising that karma doesn’t target innocent people with pure hearts.
She noted that true karma will come to those spreading evil and vile comments.
“No matter how toxic you get, you can never pass Wizkid’s FC. Stop watching my videos if it hurts so bad. Misfortune is life, and it’s rotational; it will surely swing. So wait for your own turn. Allow me to enjoy mine.
“Singing Karma Karma. Does karma visit innocent person? Someone whose heart is pure and not ridden with evil? Hell No!
“Thief stole my goods then it’s my Karma because I chose to mind my business. The real karma is coming to you for being evil and vile towards people.
“I blocked May because you wouldn’t let me like her pictures in peace. And she seems to enjoy the toxicity! So that pisses me off! As she cannot tell you to stop.”

Actor Yul Edochie under fire for shading May Edochie
Popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has drawn social media attention with a recent Instagram post seemingly aimed at his estranged wife, May Edochie.
In his post, Yul suggested that his wife has spread numerous untrue statements about him, potentially to garner sympathy and further her own interests.
“There’s no lie they haven’t said about me just to draw pity and sell market,” Edochie wrote. He went on to speculate that accusations may even escalate to rumors about his personal life, writing, “They’ll soon say I’m a 40-second man.”

How painkiller abuse damaged my kidney – Actress Ufuoma McDermott
Nollywood actress Ufuoma McDermott has opened up about her long-standing struggle with kidney disease, which she linked to prolonged use of painkillers.
In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, she urged the public to make health a top priority, sharing insights from her personal journey.
McDermott, who has been managing kidney disease for over a decade, explained that her condition stemmed from her habitual use of strong painkillers to cope with persistent migraines and headaches.
“I grew up with migraines, headaches, and eyeaches,” she recounted. “I never wore my glasses because they made me look like a geek. I’d take strong painkillers to make the pain go away.”
Over time, the consistent drug use took a toll on her kidneys, leading to the chronic condition.
The actress shared that her family was further impacted when her brother was diagnosed with late-stage kidney disease, requiring immediate dialysis.
This spurred her to seek answers about potential genetic links. However, doctors traced both siblings’ kidney issues to a shared history of long-term painkiller use rather than heredity.
“I really wish everyone would understand the importance of health,” she advised, underscoring the need for public awareness on responsible medication use and regular health check-ups.
