In recognition of his remarkable contributions to Africa’s digital transformation, Oluwafemi Wale Ogunniyi, Founder and CEO of Finxhost and BotifyAI, has been honoured at the 2024 Africa Beacon of ICT (ABoICT) Awards held at the Four Points by Sheraton, Lagos.
Now in its 16th edition, the Beacon of ICT Awards is widely regarded as the most prestigious annual event in Nigeria’s ICT industry. The 2024 edition, themed “Artificial Intelligence: The Good, The Complex and The Anticipated,” gathered policymakers, innovators, and industry leaders to celebrate excellence in technology, innovation, and leadership.
Ogunniyi’s recognition celebrates his innovative leadership and impactful contribution to Nigeria’s fast-growing tech ecosystem. Through Finxhost, a leading web hosting and cloud solutions company, he has empowered over 2,500 businesses and individual creators across Africa with affordable, secure, and scalable digital infrastructure.
His second venture, BotifyAI, has redefined social media automation and customer engagement through artificial intelligence. The platform currently supports over 1,000 active businesses across Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and web chat, automating conversations, marketing, and sales processes that reach more users monthly.
