FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike just received the remains of Late Senator Barinada Barry Mpigi in Port Harcourt few minutes ago.

Recall Senator Barinada Mpigi, representing Rivers South-East Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Works, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026.
The 64-year-old lawmaker died in London after a brief illness. He was a prominent member of the 10th National Assembly and a known ally of Nyesom Wike.
In a video it can be sighted as Wike and associates received his remains.
