Confusion engulfed the Senate on Wednesday as President Bola Tinubu's nominee from Kaduna collapsed during screening on Wednesday.
Balarabe Lawal collapsed immediately after introducing himself and one of the Senators from Kaduna was making his address.
Immediately, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio requested for water and sugar to be administered to the nominee.
Akpabio directed the shutting down of cameras as the session was televised live, while efforts were on to resuscitate the nominee.
