Buhari urges Nigerians to vote preferred candidates as he cast vote

President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to vote for their preferred candidates even if they are offered money in exchange for votes by politicians.

Buhari, however, called on politicians to turn a new leaf and stop buying votes.

“If they (politicians) still give you money, collect, but vote for your preferred candidates,” Buhari said.

He thanked the electorate for trusting the All Progressive sCongress () in the February 25 presidential and National Assembly elections where the party's candidate, , emerged as the winner.
