There’s truly hunger in Nigeria as Nigerians rush to collect 25kg bag of rice for N10,000.00 in one of the depots of Nigeria Customs Service.
Naijablitznews.com reports Nigerians were sighted in queues waiting to collect the essential commodity while others carried bags of rice after using their NIN identification to prove they’re Nigerians.
Recall that the Customs Service had in Thursday announced it was going to offer Nigerians confiscated bags of rice to help alleviate sufferings caused by the economic downturn.
NB recalls that a bag of local rice now sells for between N65k and N70k.
