Dr. Dennis Osahon Aikoriogie has emerged as the consensus candidate of the National Rescue Movement (NRM) in the forthcoming Edo State governorship election.
He was unanimously affirmed by delegates in a governorship election held Saturday.
With this victory, Aikoriogie is now set to represent the NRM in the upcoming Edo State 2024 gubernatorial elections in September.
His uncontested win in the primary elections has cemented his position as the frontrunner for the party in the race for the governorship of Edo State.
This victory demonstrates the confidence and support that the NRM has in his leadership and vision for the state.
In his acceptance speech, Aikoriogie expressed gratitude to the party members for their faith in him and vowed to bring positive change and development to Edo State if elected.
He also promised to run a clean and issue-based campaign leading up to the gubernatorial elections in September
