Daddy Freeze fires back as Eedris Abdulkareem disses him in new rap song
Veteran rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem has hit hard at popular media personality, Daddy Freeze, in a snippet of a yet-to-be-released song shared via his Instagram page recently.
Recall that Daddy Freeze has been a thorn in the flesh of Abdulkareem, interviewing some of the artists he called out in his controversial podcast interview, to fact-check the rapper.
Seemingly, angered by Daddy Freeze’s interest in his claims, Abdulkareem dropped a snippet of a rap song, dissing the radio host.
“Nigerians, we dey live as slaves in our country because of fools wey dey defend politicians and some Daddy Freezers wey dey always insult pastors later in the night go chill with fraudsters,” he rapped.
Daddy Freeze in a hilarious turn also responded to Eedris Abdulkareem’s diss through a rap piece.
He shared a video of his reply via his Instagram page.
“What’s up, OG? This is the new era. These are new times, those are real crimes. Your talent on life support, too weak for me to even rethought. No one is listening, bro. So pass the message because your career is in vain. I feel your pain, you were a star once, now it’s all in your brain,” Daddy Freeze rapped.
Ace producer and music executive Don Jazzy has claimed that his former signee, Wande Coal, has the best vocals in the Nigerian music industry.
The Mavin boss made the claim during an interactive session with fans on X on Wednesday.
A fan had praised Don Jazzy, saying he has the best and most unique voice in the Nigerian music industry. However, in his response, Don Jazzy said that while he agrees he has the most unique voice, Wande Coal has the best.
He wrote, “Most unique I agree, best na Wande [Coal].”
Wande Coal is widely regarded as one of the finest Afrobeats vocalists, with several artists such as Wizkid, Fireboy DML, and Oxlade admitting that he inspired them.
Tife Balogun, the 14-year-old son of global Afrobeats star Wizkid, has officially entered the music scene with his debut EP, “Champion’s Arrival.”
The five-track project is now available on all major streaming platforms, marking a significant milestone in the young artist’s career.
Tife, whose stage name is Champz, recently teased his debut single on social media, sparking excitement across the music scene.
The short clip showcased his confident rap verse and maturity beyond his years, with fans and critics alike praising his flow and delivery.
One of the standout lines from the teaser, “Shout-out to the OGs in the game, but it’s time to pass on the baton,” has drawn attention for its bold message.
