A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Imo State, Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, has felicitated President Bola Tinubu on the occasion of his 72nd birthday.
Araraume said the fact that the anniversary coincided with the Christians’ Good Friday was unique and indicated very strongly the purposeful hand of God in the life of the president and in the affairs of Nigeria.
According to the grassroots politician, “whereas, the economic situation in Nigeria appears very unfriendly, I take the opportunity of Mr President’s birthday today to encourage him not to give up, but he should rather give the nation’s economic management his best shot.
“Significantly, the president has always said: ‘I asked for the job.’ This is an audacious statement and admission by a sharply-focused and determined leader to deliver on promises made.
“I trust in his capacity to address the core mandates of his administration: to build resilience for the Nigerian economy, which, I believe, will rebound sooner than later on his watch.
“I urge Nigerians to patiently cooperate with the president in the arduous task of rebuilding the economy through a plethora of policies that may appear somewhat tough. ”
Araraume said he was rest assured that the policies would undergird the president’s renewed hope agenda and birth a prosperous Nigeria.
“Overall, I wish Mr President well and many happy returns to celebrate his many governmental successes which are nested in the womb of time. Happy birthday, Mr President,” Araraume declared.
