“I think BAOBAB is platform where women can express interest in politics. Actually, it is very impressive and supportive forum. I commend the executive and founder of the organisation because we need more collaborative efforts to encourage women in politics in supporting them in positions in Nigeria. So the platform like this encourages women in politics and it is very good initiative I must commend” she said.

She therefore called on women to come together to join forces and utilize the gender affirmative opportunity as affordable platform to give room for more women participation in politics.

“I think this is one of the reasons I am here. It is very collaborative effort. Once we join forces together the next level is assured that some good things will come out of it”

She lamented women’s negative experiences in politics to be dogmatic and stigmatic approach as well as religion and cultural belief that women could not do better than men, however, admonished women who aspire to be in politics to have a mentor and be rooted in grassroot movement; through active participation in women forum and exposure to social media platforms.
