Lawyer and human rights activist, Prof Chidi Anselm Odinkalu has reacted after crossdresser, Idris Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky was arrested and convicted within 24 hours.
His statement is coming after the Federal High Court in Lagos convicted the controversial crossdresser for abusing the Naira on Friday.
Recall that when Bobrisky was asked if he understood the charge that was read to him, he responded by saying he was guilty.
He said he regrets his actions and if given another chance, he will use his platform to inform and educate his followers about spraying money.
He was quoted as saying;
“I wish that you could give me a second chance to use my platform to inform and educate my followers about spraying money. I would do a video on my page and I will educate people about spraying money. I will not repeat it again. I regret my actions”.
However, Chidi Odinkalu has now reacted after the court convicted the crossdresser.
In the post that he shared on his official X handle, he said Bobrisky was arrested and convicted within 24 hours.
He said Nigeria has invented a supersonic version of judicial efficiency for Bobrisky.
He wrote on his page;
“24 hours from arrest to conviction. Nigeria has invented a supersonic version of judicial efficiency for Bobrisky”.
