Journalist welcome triplets with wife after 13 years of marriage in Ogun

It is a season of joy for popular journalist, Daud Olatunji, in Ogun State, as he and his wife, Rukayat, welcome a set of triplets. The couple, who tied the knot in 2011, had been eagerly awaiting this moment for 13 years. Olatunji expressed his overwhelming joy, referring to the triplets as a “mercy from Allah!”

The triplets were named even before their birth, with the names Abdullah, Maryam, and Aisha. Olatunji shared his excitement with the world, stating, “With just one shot, I scored three goals: Mayam, Aisha, and Abdullah. Mother and triplets, all safe. Alhamdulillah.”

Confirming the news, Olatunji expressed his gratitude to Allah, saying, “We return all glory to Allah for this set of mercy. Mother and the children are in good condition. They are a set of triplets, and we have named them Abdullah, Maryam, and Aisha.”

As the news spread, friends, colleagues, and acquaintances joined in the couple’s moment of joy. Adeola Yusuf, Team Lead of Platforms Africa, congratulated the couple and emphasized the reward of patience. “We congratulate the couple over this bundle of joy. May God protect Abdullah, Maryam and Aisha. May He provide for their parents. Truly, there is a great reward for patience.”

Rasak Musbau also expressed his joy and offered his blessings, saying, “Maa shaa Allahu. Tabaraka llahu ta’ala. Al hamdu lillahi rRobi l A’lameen. Subuhun Qudusun rRobbu l malaaikatu wa ruhi.” Similarly, Akinyemi Aisha sent her congratulations and prayers, saying, “Alhamdulillah Baarakah Allahu feekum. May Allah bless, protect and make them coolness of your eyes. May He bless your halal sustenance to nurture them and may He make them good ambassadors of Islam. Congratulations my brother. I’m so happy for you. My love to them.”
