Rep Gana Commends Workers For Their Hardwork, Resilience, Supports Wage Increase For Workers

Lavun, Mokwa, Edati Federal Constituency of  Niger State, Rep. Joshua Audu Gana has congratulated Nigerian workers on the occasion if the 2024 Workers Day.
Rep. Gana who extolled Nigerian workers for their hardwork and resilient even in the face of the current hardship being experienced in the country, supported the call for the increase in the salaries of workers to enable them to meet their needs following the the price hikes across Nigeria.
He said: “On this year’s occasion of Workers Day, I salute the industry, creativity, resilience and productivity of Nigerian Workers. May our labour be rewarded here on earth and in heaven above”.
The lawmaker also commended the exemplary leadership of the Organised Labour led by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) for their  struggles aimed at improving the lives of the workers.
He further congratulated the Number One worker in Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu, the Niger state governor, Mr. Umar Bago, the Leadership of National Assembly, the Speaker House of Representatives, the  Senate President, Clerk of National Assembly, the Chairman National Assembly Service Commission and all National Assembly Staff, for working hard to build a great Nigeria and Niger state, respectively.
