Social media a fake love zone – Actress Rita Edochie warns
Actress Rita Edochie has pointed out the gap between how people portray themselves on social media and their actual conduct in real-life interactions.
Edochie shared an older video from a movie featuring herself and Nkem Owoh on her Instagram page.
Rita suggests that online gestures such as liking, commenting, or posting on someone’s birthday or achievements don’t necessarily reflect genuine feelings or support.
Rita describes social media as a platform where insincere expressions of affection, or “fake love,” are prevalent.
People may profess admiration or friendship online while harboring negative sentiments or engaging in harmful behaviour offline.
Rita likened some people to mosquitoes, which represents people who cause harm or spread negativity. Despite their harmful actions, they may still feign support or encouragement, similar to advising someone to take malaria pills after being bitten by a mosquito.
In a surprising twist, Big Brother Naija reality star Chichi has set the internet ablaze after being spotted pole dancing at a nightclub.
The viral video, which surfaced online, shows the former housemate effortlessly climbing and twirling on the pole, a move that has reignited conversations about her journey and choices post-BBN.

The duo set the social media abuzz after they were spotted together at a Lagos club.
Bailey who arrived in Nigeria on Sunday, December 15, was reportedly greeted by a convoy sent by Burna Boy.
Some social media users documented the pair’s evening outing, with footage showing Bailey in Burna Boy’s Lamborghini.
They were later seen in a trending video on social media, getting cozy in a private section of the club.
While the duo have not publicly confirmed their relationship status, the unexpected pairing sparked a flurry of reactions.
