In a proactive move to address the perennial flooding that plagues the state capital, His Excellency, Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia, the Executive Governor of Benue State, has initiated the clearing of the block drainage system in Makurdi.
This intervention is just one of the many measures being undertaken by the Governor’s administration to ensure the free flow of water and prevent the devastating impact of flooding on the residents of Makurdi.
The clearing of the block drainage system is a crucial step in Gov Alia’s comprehensive plan to mitigate the effects of flooding in the city.
Governor Alia is committed to addressing this long-standing issue and ensuring the safety and well-being of the citizens of Benue State.
