Ronaldo Wins Golden Boot With 35 Goals In Saudi Pro League

The 2023-24 season of the Saudi Professional League has come to an end. Al-Hilal emerged as the champions.

Al Nassr finished in second place, scoring a total of 100 goals throughout the season, with Cristiano Ronaldo contributing 35 of them. He surpassed Aleksandar Mitrović of Al-Hilal to become the league’s top scorer and won the Golden Boot.

In the final game, Al Nassr defeated Al-Ittihad 4-2 at their home stadium, with the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo scoring a brace. These goals marked his 34th and 35th of the season. The 39-year-old Portuguese set a new Saudi Professional League record for the most goals in a single season.

Notably, Ronaldo decided to stay with Al Nassr and extended his contract with the club for another year, until the end of June 2026. On December 30, 2022, it was announced that Cristiano Ronaldo had signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Al Nassr.
