The Senator representing Taraba Central Senatorial District Senator Haruna Manu has urged President Bola Tinubu to provide jobs for the teeming youths of Nigeria instead of reintroducing the old national anthem.
Senator Manu made this plea in a chat with VON shortly after his visit to the National Assembly noting that:
“The importance of providing employment opportunities to Nigerian youths is far better than reintroducing the old national anthem.
He explained that creating jobs and empowering the youth to contribute positively to the development of the nation will go a long way in making the Nigerian economy more robust.
On agriculture, Manu said: “It is essential that Federal Government invest in our farmers and support their efforts to ensure food security and economic prosperity for our nation.
Further stressing that empowering the farmers and providing them with the necessary resources and support, they can truly shine and make a significant impact on Nigerian economy.”
