Honourable Ekene, who represents Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, reacting to the recent turn of events, insisted that measures must be taken for genuine changes to be effected in Nigeria Sports.

“In civilised world, people resign if they are not doing well and we can see with the Dortmund Coach, Edin Terzic, who has just resigned after losing the Uefa Champions league final. Maybe I am the one to even resign because the truth is people must learn how to throw in the towel if results are not good enough, because I strongly believe something must be done”

On if the House Committee on Sports will invite the leadership of the NFF, the lawmaker said, “the Minister of Sports has already invited them and he is in the right direction.”
