Enugu monarch elected S’East traditional rulers’ chairman
The traditional ruler of Edem-Ani Ogwugwu kingdom in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu state, Igwe Samuel Asadu has emerged as the new Chairman of South East Traditional Rulers Council, a statement by his office said on Saturday.
According to the statement, the announcement of Igwe Asadu’s emergence as the Chairman of South East Traditional Rulers was greeted with widespread jubilation across Enugu State and beyond.
The emergence of the monarch had been hailed by various dignitaries across the globe.
The statement noted that Igwe Asadu had earlier emerged as the Chairman of the Enugu State Council of Traditional Rulers following the reconstitution of the eight Council of Enugu State Traditional Rulers and his subsequent appointment as the Chairman by Peter Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State.
“His Royal Majesty, Igwe Dr. Asadu is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Promptime HealthCare Services, USA- a leading healthcare service provider in the USA with over 400 staff in his employ.
“He owns Acredible Health Care Services as well as Lakeview Health Care Services all based in the USA. To cater to his interest in real estate, he founded NSSP Holdings NLC, a leading real estate firm in Dallas and He is a member of the People’s Club of Nigeria (USA) Branch,” the statement said.

#OndoDecides2024: APC congratulates Aiyedatiwa, applauds Ondo electorate

The All Progressives Congress has congratulated the Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his re-election in the just-concluded governorship election.
Aiyedatiwa won the election, having polled a total of 366,781 votes across all 18 Local Government Areas of the state.
He defeated his closest rival — Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party, who got 117,845 votes.
In a statement issued by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, on Sunday, and made available to PUNCH Online, the party described Aiyedatiwa as a “clear attestation” that his administration’s policies “resonated deeply with the electorate.”
The statement read, “The All Progressives Congress (APC) heartily congratulates the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his re-election.
“Your Excellency’s resounding victory in the just-concluded Ondo State gubernatorial election is a clear attestation that your administration’s policies and programmes and campaign message of hope and consolidation have resonated deeply with the electorate.
