Media learnt that the car was stolen around Gwarimpa in Abuja on Tuesday night.

There is seemingly a recent increase in the reported cases of car theft in the nation’s capital, Abuja.
The FCT Police Commissioner, CP Benneth Igweh, in May paraded 12 suspects over car theft and ‘one-chance’ robbery.
‘One-chance’ is commonly used in Nigeria to refer to fraud or scam and also when a group of criminals picks up passengers waiting for a taxi or bus, to rob or defraud them.

According to Igweh, three exotic vehicles identified as Toyota Camry with Reg No. Lagos 23, Audi A4 with Reg No. KRD 349 JD and Honda Accord Sports with Reg No. BDG 42 JC were recovered from them.
He added that the cars’ chassis numbers had been altered by the suspects.
