Emeka Nnadi, a renowned architect and community leader made the headline few days ago as a community park which he helped developed and contributed immensely was named after him in Winnipeg’s Bridgwater, Canada.
According to reports, the renowned Nigerian architect helped to develop the Bridgwater area, by transforming what in 2006 was roughly 600 hectares of provincially owned farmland into multiple neighbourhoods with thousands of homes. Commending Nnadi, Obi described him as an inspiration and embodiment of Nigerian can do spirit.
