Regarding health services, Al-Jalajel noted successful management of heat stress cases during Hajj, with ongoing care provided to affected individuals. He highlighted the absence of epidemics or widespread diseases during the season.
In media interviews, Al-Jalajel expressed confidence in the overall health of pilgrims despite high temperatures, crediting swift health responses and support from Hajj security forces.
The Kingdom provided over 465,000 specialized treatment services, including 141,000 to unauthorized pilgrims. Preemptive health services, such as early detection, vaccinations, and medical care, were initiated at entry points.
Healthcare provisions encompassed advanced treatments like open-heart surgeries, cardiac catheterization, and dialysis, supported by extensive ambulance services and air operations ensuring prompt medical assistance across Saudi Arabia.
Al-Jalajel announced that next year would mark the final Hajj during summer months, with a planned 17-year hiatus to avoid intense heat conditions for pilgrims.
