NELFUND has granted approval for students from state-owned tertiary institutions to access federal government loans, according to a recent announcement.
The statement, released via its official account, identified 36 state-owned institutions eligible for the scheme. These institutions have successfully submitted student data to NELFUND’s Student Verification System (SVS).
The announcement encourages other state-owned institutions to promptly submit their student data to ensure their students can benefit from the loan program.
The listed institutions include Adamawa State University, Edo State University, Imo State University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, and others across various states.
Previously, NELFUND had postponed the application process for loans due to low data submissions from state institutions.
