…commits to safeguarding Nigeria

The Opposition Caucus of the House of Representatives has reiterated her commitment in ensuring to do everything possible to safeguard Nigeria.
House Minority Leader, Rep. Kingsley Chinda, gave the assurance during a media briefing after the end of session dinner held at Transcorp Hotel, on Monday night in Abuja.
Naijablitznews.com reports that the Opposition caucus end of session meeting and dinner ended at about 10pm after which the leaders of the opposition party briefed the press.
The Leader of the Caucus thanked the press men for their unwavering support in the discharge of their duties.
Rep. Chinda stated that among issues discussed were bothered on the economy, security, unemployment, the planned nationwide protest among others.
He said: “We just had a meeting of the opposition caucus of the House of Representatives and then we had our end of session dinner. And I can assure you that a lot of issues that has to do with our country, we also x-rayed in passing because it was actually a dinner that we had.
“We want to thank you for the support you have given to us so far, that is men of the pen profession, the press.
“And we want to assure Nigerians that because we have no other country, we will do everything possible to safeguard our nation Nigeria.
“We considered issues that has to do with insecurity in our country, we considered issues that has to do with economy, unemployment and the threatened protest by some of our brothers, sisters and children. And we took decisions on them, which resolution we will pass unto the press by tomorrow.
Naijablitznews.com recalled that the members of the Opposition Caucus of the House comprises of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, Social Democratic Party SDP, Labour Party LP, Young Progressives Party YPP, African Democratic Congress ADC, New Nigerian People’s Party NNPP, and All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA.
