Andreas Georgson is the new first-team coach at Manchester United.
This was revealed by the Red Devils in a statement posted on their website prior to their preseason friendly match against Arsenal this coming Saturday.
The most recent hire made by Man United boss Erik Ten Hag this summer is Georgson.
In the updated configuration, he will collaborate with Steve McClaren and Darren Fletcher, two other first-team coaches.
The 42-year-old, who has been head coach of Lillestrom in Norway since January of this year, moved to the Premier League’s biggest teams.
Having previously held coaching positions at Brentford, Arsenal, and Southampton, he possesses a wealth of coaching expertise in England.
Recall that Man United had announced earlier this month that first-team assistant managers Rene Hake and Ruud van Nistelrooy had joined the team
Jelle ten Rouwelaar has also come on board as a goalkeeping coach.
