The hunger and bad governance protests for the restoration of ‘agbado”Tuo”fufu”Amala”Ofe olugbo’ in various households will mount the centre stage in Nigeria today.

Naijablitznews vividly recalls how President Bola Tinubu promised while campaigning that foodstuffs would be available ‘repete’ if he wins 2023 presidential election.

After more than one year in office all those foodstuffs are now beyond the reach of Nigerians making Nigerians hungry and angry that even ‘garri’ is no longer available.

This food denial and his failed electoral promises has snowballed into a nationwide protest despite pleas by the authorities that it should be shelved for another day.

In the history of Nigeria as an entity, Nigerians have not embarked on hunger demonstration not even in a military regime.

The reality has dawned on them that the only way to drive home their point is to go out and demonstrate their anger over hunger and bad governance.

This singular yet to be achieved demonstration has made federal government to adequately adjust.

Yesterday, Thursday, NELFUND released loans to students, N50K stipend has started flying into the pockets of those who have people in government.

Government also announced invincible N40k per bag of rice that no sane person has seen.

The organisers have marked out routes and mode of operations to protesters and the police is on red alert and even promised to escort protesters.

Politicians now sleep with their eyes wide open as no one can predict the shape of the peaceful demonstration.
