Nasarawa govt promises to pay N70K minimum wage

Nasarawa state government on Tuesday assured its civil servant that the APC government is the state would pay the N70, 000 nairai minimum wage agreed by the federal government.

Can not afford to tap his workers anything less than what can take it’s workers home.

According to Ahemba, governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa is more than ready to pay N70,000 minimum wage to civil servants in the state.

Ahemba explained that the state government has set up a.Committee to put neccesary modalities for the implementation of the new minimum wage in the state.

“Already government has approved the payment of the new minimum wage which is set to commence any moment soon.

“Governor Abdullahi Sule is ready to pay the ₦70,000 minimum wage passed into law by the National Assembly and accented to by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His excellency Engineer Sule is committed to Workers welfare and the entire development of the state”, Ahemba said.

The SSA further explained that the state government was happy with the youths in the state over the nationwide protest for refusing to be part of those winning back government preparedness to resolve the nation’s crisis.

“The government of Abdullahi Sule is aware of the current hardship Nigerians are going through and he is taking proactive measures to address the current hardship through youths engagement and entrepreneurship training as parts of his agenda of industrialisation.

Governor Sule urged the youths to remained calm as his administration is working hard to creates employment for the youths through his industrialisation policy that is fast yeilding result.
