NYSC Management Speaks On Two Missing Officials

National Youths Service Commission Corps Management has appealed to Security Agencies in Anambra and Imo States to assist in securing the release of two of their officials.

The officials are, NYSC Akwa-Ibom State Coordinator, Mr Okun Christopher and his driver, Mr Daniel Effiong Asibong who were travelling in a white official Hilux vehicle with registration number 27D31FG when they were last heard of.

The release signed by the Director, Information and Public Relations,Eddy Megwa appealed to anyone with useful information to contact any of their secretariats.

“The Management of National Youth Service Corps is appealing to the security agencies in Anambra and Imo States as well as the two State Governments to do everything possible to secure the release of two NYSC officials who got missing on Monday July 29, 2024, between Onitsha and Owerri road while on transit to Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State.

The NYSC Akwa-Ibom State Coordinator, Mr Okun Christopher and his driver, Mr Daniel Effiong Asibong were travelling in a white official Hilux vehicle with registration number 27D31FG when they were last heard of.

The Scheme also enjoin all well-meaning individuals from both States to assist the security agencies in the search and rescue efforts of the missing NYSC Officials.

Meanwhile, anyone with useful information regarding their whereabout should contact the law enforcement agents in Anambra and Imo States, any of the 37 NYSC State Secretariats, Area Offices and National Directorate Headquarters in Maitama, Abuja, or the nearest police station for immediate action.”
