The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has clarified that it is not here currently conducting a recruitment exercise.
Recall that on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, the bank posted a job vacancy on its website.
In a statement posted on the CBN’s official social media page, the bank explained that the job vacancy on its website is for the position of Director-General of the West African Monetary Agency (WAMA), which is open to eligible candidates from member countries of the Economic Community of West African States.
The bank advised members of the general public, particularly applicants, to always visit the CBN website (www.cbn.gov.ng) for accurate information
