As the Nigerian political space begins to heat up ahead of the 2027 elections, a campaign poster showing Bukola Saraki as a presidential candidate has surfaced online.
The poster had Saraki as the presidential candidate and Peter Obi as his running mate.
The campaign poster was tagged: “Let’s restore our country back, come 2027.”
Saraki, a former Senate President is a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, while Obi is still a member of the Labour Party, LP.
Obi had defected from the PDP to the LP during the build-up to the 2023 presidential election.
However, both Saraki and Obi are yet to officially declare any intention to contest the 2027 presidential election.
