Born in August 1960, Oseke hailed from Umuawulu in Awka South Local Government Area. He was a law graduate and had recently completed his Ph.D. in Public Administration.

Beyond his academic achievements, Oseke was a prominent figure in the freight forwarding industry in Port Harcourt and was also active in the importation of fishing feeds.

Oseke’s political career was marked by his affiliation with the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

During Peter Obi’s tenure as governor, Oseke contested and won a seat in the Anambra State House of Assembly, where he served as the Majority Leader before being elected Deputy Speaker.

A devout Christian and a knight of St. Christopher, Harford Oseke is survived by his wife and children.
