Murtala Ajaka, the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Kogi State, was attacked today at the Supreme Court.
This attack ensued following the Court’s decision to uphold Usman Ododo’s election as Governor of Kogi State
Ajaka had contested the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission after the November 11, 2023, election, which declared Ododo of the APC as the winner.
In a unanimous ruling, the five-member panel of the Supreme Court confirmed Ododo’s victory and denied Ajaka’s request to annul the election.
