Just a month ago, all focus was on him. The momentum was on him. Biden was fumbling. Democrats were angry, divided and demoralised. The attempt on Trump shot up Trump’s rating. All media coverage was on him. It was obvious Trump would beat Biden roundly.
Then Biden announced his withdrawal from the race and supported Kamala Harris. Boom! Everything changed.
The momentum left Trump and followed Kamala Harris.
Trump and his camp became the group attacking. Any time you see a political party on the offensive, it is behind. The person behind usually attacks the person ahead.
Election date is still far away and an incident (like the financial meltdown in 2008) can change things overnight. But judged by what is happening today, it is not looking good for Trump.
