Why I didn’t grow beards during my six months in prison — Bobrisky

Popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, better known as Bobrisky, has finally revealed why he didn’t grow any beards again in his life time.
He disclosed this during an interview with comedian Isbae U, who referred to Bobrisky as an ex-convict on his show, “Curiosity Made Me Ask.”
Bobrisky’s was sentenced to six months jail term, after pleading guilty for naira abuse on April 12, 2024 at the Federal High Court,Lagos
However, on August 5, 2024, Bobrisky was released, making headlines once again.
During the interview, Bobrisky addressed the curiosity surrounding his appearance, especially the absence of facial hair after nearly four months in prison.
Isbae U humorously questioned him, saying, “A lot of people were expecting you to come out looking like Gandalf, you understand, how did you get someone to bring you shaving stick?”

Chris Brown pleads not guilty in Uk assault case

American R&B singer Chris Brown on Friday pleaded not guilty in a UK court to a charge stemming from an alleged London nightclub brawl in 2023.
Brown, 36, wearing a dark suit and tie as well as glasses, stood in the dock in London as the charge was put to him, replying: “Not guilty, ma’am.”
The singer, who is on £5 million ($6.7 million) bail, waved to people in the public gallery as he left, following his plea to allegedly attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
A five to seven-day long trial was scheduled to start on October 26, 2026
The singer was held in custody for a nearly a week in May after he was arrested in the northwestern city of Manchester. He was later released on bail.
Under the terms of his bail, he will forfeit the £5 million guarantee if he fails to return for court proceedings.
He was also given the go-ahead to continue his scheduled international tour which began on June 8 in Amsterdam.
The star, who had a troubled relationship with Barbadian singer Rihanna, is on the UK leg of his tour, with his next date in London on Saturday.
Brown is charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent in relation to an assault in which the victim was allegedly struck several times with a bottle before being pursued, punched and kicked

Video: Laide Bakare fires back at Portable after he called her out online

Actress Laide Bakare has issued a strong warning to singer Portable after he publicly taunted and insulted her online.
In a video, Portable claimed that Laide invited him to perform at her event, but she did not have the money to pay him.
He stated that he declined the offer, which led her to get angry and insult him, referring to him as “the dirty boy from Sango-Ota.” He accused her of instigating the drama and then portraying herself as the victim.
In response, Laide Bakare shared a video, urging Portable to keep her name out of his mouth. She made it clear that she would not tolerate any disrespect and advised him to move on.

BBNaija Season 3 reality star, Angel, expresses gratitude to God after surviving a car accident.
Angel shared the news on Instagram page, posting a photo of his damaged car to reveal the incident.
The reality star, who appeared in BBNaija’s Double Wahala edition, posted a photo of the BMW he was driving at the time of the accident.
He expressed deep gratitude to God for surviving the crash unscathed.In his words:
“Last night, I came close to losing my life in a terrible accident that left my car badly damaged. Thankfully, I walked away without a single scratch, though the car wasn’t as lucky. God chose to spare my life, and for that, I’m forever grateful. Thank you, Lord!”
