Augustine Eguavoen has dumped Super Eagles job as interim coach.
He confirmed that his appointment was only meant for two matches, which he has now fulfilled.
Reflecting on his brief tenure, he stated, “My mandate was for two games and it ends today (against Rwanda). I appreciate my players and the NFF leadership.”
His departure marks the end of his short stint, during which he expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead the national team and acknowledged the support of the players and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
