The Northern Senators Forum has commiserated with Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno over the death of his wife, pastor Patience Umo Eno.
The Forum expressed its deepest condolences in a statement by its chairman, Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, on Friday.
“It is with profound sadness that I, on behalf of the Northern Senators Forum, extend our deepest condolences to Governor Umo Eno on the passing of his beloved wife, Her Excellency, Pastor Patience Umo Eno. Her extraordinary legacy, marked by unwavering support, care, and compassion, has left an indelible impact on countless lives.
“Through her visionary initiative, Golden Initiative For All (GIFA), she transformed the lives of the poor and less privileged, exemplifying kindness and devotion. As a rock-solid pillar of strength, she provided unwavering encouragement and support to Governor Umo Eno.
“Her passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt, and we pray that Governor Umo Eno, the people of Akwa Ibom State, and her loved ones find strength during this immense loss. We remember her as a shining example of kindness, compassion, and devotion, inspiring many as a role model for peaceful living.
“May God lovingly accept her soul and grant her eternal peace. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies”, the statement reads.
