Member representing Oluyole Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has been expelled from All Progressives Congress (APC) over alleged anti-party activities.
The decision was reached at an enlarged meeting of Oluyole local government APC at Community Primary School, Olomi, Ibadan.
The chairman of Oluyole local government APC, Alhaji Waheed Akinleye said the party received a report of anti-party activities of the lawmaker by her Ward 10, which was found to be true , necessitating the decision.
According to him, even though Akande-Sadipe remains a member of the House of Representatives, she would have nothing to do with the APC again.
Also, a former chairman of Oluyole local government, Hon James Adeleke, said it was painful the lawmaker treated her constituency with disdain, saying expelling her was a well-taken decision.
The chairman, Ward 10, Pa Segun Akintunde, said Akande- Sadipe abandoned members of the APC in the ward and had been fraternising with members from other parties though the APC worked for her emergence as a two-term lawmaker.
Akintunde added that the lawmaker has been warned many times to change her ways but remained adamant, daring eaders and members of the party.
The APC members later put it to voice vote, supporting the expulsion of the federal lawmaker.
