Popular Nigerian gospel Singer is dead

A gospel singer, Dorcas Awolumate is reportedly dead.

News of Awolumate’s death filtered in through the social media on Tuesday, 15th, October 2024.

The Gospel Artiste on Sunday celebrated her husband’s birthday with beautiful pictures of both of them.

The cause of her death was still sketchy as of press time but a popular gospel artiste, Adeyinka Alaseyori was among the people that first broke the news on her Facebook page.

Though Alaseyori did not mention the name of the artiste that passed, her comment section was filled with condolence messages and tributes of Dorcas Awolumate.

Another gospel artiste, Ti Jesu posted on her Facebook, “I still can’t fully comprehend that Aduke Gold is gone forever, and now, Mama Dorcas too.

“The pain is so real—it hurts deeply. Yet, in all of this, GOD IS FAITHFUL. I’ve been singing this song that brings comfort, though the shock remains.

“We find solace in Christ, knowing you are now singing with the angels, and we will meet again on the resurrection morning.

“Mama Dorcas Awolumate, you were a rare gem, and your legacy will live on.

Rest on, Mama Dorcas.
Rest on, Aduke Gold.
Rest on, Mama Yemi Adeola.

“It’s painful, but we know we have no control over death. Our comfort lies in knowing that you are now with the Father.“

A cleric, Ayodele Israel also posted,
“Hearing the news of your departure to eternity, my sister i cant still believe you have left us uuuuum
Who are we to question God? Our solace is in the fact that you are kingdom daughter.

“Mama Awolu” as i call you we all miss your love,care,simplicity,hospitality, and dedication to Your God and maker
May your soul continue to rest in the bossom of your maker.
