Adultery Allegation: I lied, please forgive me – Nollywood Actress begs Apostle Suleman

By Francesca Hangeior.
Few days after she was slammed with an indefinite suspension by the leadership of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, for tarnishing the image of the association, ace Actress, Halima Abubakar, recanted the adultery allegation she raised against a popular clergy, Apostle Johnson Suleman.
Halima had on several occasions, dragged the name of the clergy to the mud, alleging that he dumped her, despite many intimate moments they had together.
The actress, who was terribly sick at a time, allegedly sponsored several defamatory publications against the Edo-born clergy whom she alleged had also had intimate affairs with other prominent actresses.
A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory had since slammed damages against Halima for defaming the preacher.
Meanwhile, years after her allegations came to light, the actress has come out to apologise, revealing that she told lies against the clergy/founder of Omega Fire Ministry.
“I admit that I made false allegations against you; and also regret my actions and damage I caused to you, your wife, Dr. Mrs. Lizzy Suleman, your family, and the leaders of Omega Fire Ministry.”
“I am truly sorry for all the hurts and distress I caused you, your family and your ministry. Thank you very much and may heaven calm your heart. God bless you Sir,” the actress added in the personal letter of apology she addressed to the Apostle.

May Edochie’s laywer explains her co-parenting with Yul, clarifies Judy Austin’s role

Emeka Ugwuonye, the legal representative of May Edochie, has addressed the co-parenting arrangement between May Edochie and her estranged husband, Yul Edochie.
In a recent Instagram post, Ugwuonye emphasised that co-parenting is not just a moral obligation but a legal requirement for the estranged couple, given their shared children.
According to the lawyer, effective co-parenting demands cooperation and communication between May and Yul Edochie, despite their personal differences.
He revealed that the couple is co parenting effectively, stating that Yul is providing financial support for the children’s education and having unrestricted access to them.
Ugwuonye attributed the negative online reactions to ignorance about what co-parenting entails, stressing that both May and Yul have no choice but to work together for the sake of their children, as it is a legal requirement.
He also addressed speculations about Judy Austin’s involvement in the children’s lives, stating that she has no legal relationship with them currently. However, if she marries Yul, she would become the children’s stepmother.
The lawyer concluded by dismissing public opinion as irrelevant, emphasising that the law governs co-parenting arrangements, not public perception.
“Yes, May and Yul have children together. They will co-parent. Why is that driving anybody crazy? Yul and May are already co-parenting right now, that is the only way it can work. Yul is contributing to the children’s school fees and supporting them as well, so he has unlimited access to the kids. That is what co-parenting entails. If they do not speak to each other, they cannot co-parent effectively.
“Because many of the supporters on both sides are ignorant, they do not understand the fact that both May and Yul have no other choice over the matter: they have to co-parent.
“Now, as for Judy, she is not in any legal relationship with May’s children. There is no basis for any cooperation between May and Judy. However, if Judy eventually gets married to Yul, that will make her a stepmother to May’s children with Yul.”
